A welcome return for the highly collectable Balearica compilation series and number four is their best yet - a superb collection of eight hard to find Balearic obscurities all lovingly remastered, loud-pressed on 2 x 12" vinyl and sounding sweeter than ever. Proceedings kick off with Love Unlimited Orchestra's beautiful Welcome Aboard, a floating disco odessey from 1979 reminiscent of the best of Metro Area and Lindstrom, followed by the phat slo-mo disco groove of Body To Body Boogie by O.R.S. Next up is a killer extended intrumental edit of the Big Ben Tribe version of Bowie's classic Heroes, and then Dirty Love, one of the stand-out tracks from Bagarre's mega rare 1982 cult classic LP 'Circus'. Side C opens with the in-demand cool laid-back Jim Burgess mix of Love Maker by Wham (70s disco outfit, not the 80s popstars!), a big favourite of DJ Harvey, followed by Tamiko's Groove, a smooth blissed-out instrumental version of the Marvin Gaye/Leon Ware hit 'I Want You'. Finally on Side D we get Kinkina's excellent remake of the Chakacha classic Jungle Fever, a track that was massive at the early Ibiza parties, and last but definitely not least comes Tear The Roof Of The Moose, a brilliant dub disco rework of Modern Romance's hit 'Ay Ay Ay Moosey' - a sure fire party starter.
